Ankush Samant

I am an artist based out of a small Indo-French town called Pondichery in India. I love football, traveling, reading, photography, writing stories and poetry, and meeting new people. Every time I create something in form of words, colors, lines or dots, I leave a part of myself behind. Therefore, my work is not just a reflection of me, it is a piece of me. And that piece of me reflects my thoughts, ideas, views and understanding. I love meeting new people, listening to their interactions, immersing in cultures, experiencing emotions, observing inconsequential objects and ruminating about them all when I am all alone. My art work is a result of these ruminations, retrospections and introspections.

I am an engineer and a management professional by education. However, somewhere in the continuum of time and space, I heard a calling and moved on to purse my dreams of becoming an artist and a writer.
