Yiyan Zhou

Zhou Yiyan is a multidiciplinary artist whose favourite means of expression are sculpture, art jewellery, oil and ink painting, drawing and photography.

She uses a large spectrum of practices, among which : porcelain ceramics, bronze, painting, and photography, She adapts each medium to her projects and, in her palette, she chooses the medium which is best suited to reveal her sensitivity.
Each piece of work is created from her wish to transmit her observations of the world, of nature and of human beings. This wish can manifest itself long after her first observations took place.
Once the creative process has begun, her hand translates the impressions she has in mind into texts and quickly drawn sketches.

Zhou Yiyan studied art and design at Shanghai Normal University before settling in Paris, in 2007, in order to complete her artistic in photography and studies fashion design (Studio Berçot).

Her pieces are displayed in several galleries and art fairs, among which :
