Debora Vecchi

I'm an Italian/Australian emerging abstract artist, born in Italy, currently living in Australia.
My home country always inspired me in creating art, my main stream of inspiration is the Surrealism Movement and Postmodernism.
I started painting since I was 8 and since then I never stopped. My art practice is painting acrylics on canvas and wood panels, this is because I like the flexibility of acrylic paint.
I started as a self-taught, however, the Italian education system includes Art history and practice as a core subject, so here I really started developing this passion into more concrete practice.
Since here in Australia, I kept my creativity as a hobby, however people complimented my works, motivating me to start a degree in Fine Arts.
My art has been valued by Angelo Crespi, an Italian Art critic, to be 2.6 of the artist coefficient.
