Amanda ye 叶惠敏 （b. 1966) in Guangdong China, and currently lives and works in Singapore. Her works are inspired by the beauty of nature, flora and fauna, Greek mythology and modern life. Her ink paintings combine contemporary painting aesthetics with the tools and techniques of traditional Eastern ink art, exploring the relationship between appearance and materiality, figuration and abstraction. Tension, and how the mechanics of images shape our behavior of seeing.
