Originally from London, I moved to St Ives, Cornwall in 2010 . My preferred medium is oil and acrylic paint on canvas, and smaller scale gouache and acrylic on paper. My paintings are created intuitively, without a clear idea of how the finished work will look. Ranging from minimal images to more complex 'landscapes' of paint that are built up slowly over time. Inspiration is found in the visual world around me, taking colour combinations and shapes from anything and everywhere. I seek to create work that is uplifting or joyful.
