Silva Nironi

Drawing inspiration from Surrealist collage, I am interested in the power of juxtaposition to unlock the subconscious. By combining incongruous elements, I aim to disrupt linear thought and evoke a sense of wonder and disorientation. My work seeks to activate the viewer's psychic processes, encouraging a dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious.
Through this exploration of form and content, I hope to create works that resonate on a personal and collective level, inviting viewers to delve into their own inner worlds and discover new meanings within the seemingly familiar.

I attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
I obtained a specialization in Didactics of art having attended an internship at the Department of Didactics of art of the Modern Art Gallery of Bologna.
