My name is Erika, I live and work in London.
Trough my work, I want to identify and convey the emotional impression I feel about my original culture.
I paint in acrylic for its flowing and lively texture.

The process to produce the effect that I covet is very gestural.

Influenced by African music and fashion, I am passionate about painting the modern African woman with her exalted curves, covered in golden jewelry.

My paintings are intended expressionist producing color contrast between to be the woman and the background with curved lines to draw the focus where I want to lead the viewer.

They are imprints of female sensuality where pictorial quality tends to highlight shapes and delicacy, leaving to the viewer his share of dreams.
