Aachen Diana

I am a Romanian visual artist, art restorer and former professor with a PhD in Sacred Arts. After years of working in cultural heritage, I return to painting with a renewed voice: bold, symbolic, and textured. My current work explores silent rituals, sacred symmetry, and emotional geometry through abstract birds, animals, and red vertical lines.

My style blends ancient spiritual codes with contemporary expression. I work mainly in acrylic on canvas or wood, creating eroded surfaces, golden symbols and compositions that evoke stillness and meaning. Each painting is a visual meditation, an invitation to reconnect with inner balance and timeless presence.

I currently live and create in Vienna. My works are part of the “SACRUM” visual series, where I explore the sacred through form, texture, and silence. They are made for those who seek emotional truth, aesthetic harmony, and a deeper connection with art.

I have participated in numerous national and international events dedicated to sacred art, cultural heritage, and restoration. My experience includes curated exhibitions at the Patriarchal Palace in Bucharest (2008–2016), academic presentations in Germany and the UK, and the coordination of national icon art competitions. In 2025, I return to the contemporary art scene with a new visual series launched through Saatchi Art.
