The Held Becoming Painting

Born in 1995, I am a self-taught artist whose work reflects the search for meaning, identity, and belonging. After spending 6.5 years in a job that was never truly mine, I kept chasing what the world said would make me happy — until I realized I had left behind what always did. Painting was there from the beginning — on walls, notebooks, scraps of paper — but somewhere along the way, I forgot it. Like many of us, I traded childhood wonder for society’s idea of success. Now I’ve found my way back. My every artwork has something to say — a thought, a memory, a feeling caught mid-breath. Each piece is a fragment of my story, painted with honesty rather than perfection. Through color, texture, and abstraction, I explore the process of coming home to myself — imperfect, searching, and finally free.
