I am drawn to reflections, distortion, colour and still life art. I have taken inspiration from the overlooked everyday objects as a visual stimulus in my own environment. I love bringing attention to important everyday objects to me, and giving them a centre stage and a platform.

I have been interested in art since a young age. After following various courses in the subject, I went on to study at Bath Spa University College specialising in Art and Textiles.

I then continued my career by teaching art and photography in a secondary school for the last 17 years, this has allowed me to pass on my passion to the next generation and deepen my breath of knowledge in the subject. I am exposed to lots of ideas, artists and work and am continually looking for new visual stimulus, primary sources and inspiration for myself and my students

I have been part of many successful art exhibitions around the UK, including Bath, Devizes, Leamington Spa and Coventry.
