Luca Galassi

A journalist, photographer and documentarist, I am currently a Literature teacher in Carrara, Italy, a town surrounded by mountains and sea. I wander through flea markets, garages, abandoned houses, mechanical workshops, scrapyards and collect vintage pieces of bicycles, motorbikes, cutlery, binoculars, musical instruments, clocks and so forth. I recover old relics and put them together to give them new life, trying to tailor the forms of what I love most: sea creatures.

I studied Humanities and Arts in Pisa University and Journalism in Milan University.
