Sarah Masan

Sarah Masan was born and raised in Virginia, United States. She lives in central Switzerland. Her medium of choice is photography, with an emphasis on fine art landscapes. Her work has been described as cinematic and atmospheric. She aims to inspire a sense of balance, zen, and dream-like harmony in the viewer, through both the color and composition of her images.

Sarah draws inspiration from her summers spent in Japan while growing up, lone nightscapes during her studies in the southern USA, seascapes from road-trips on the coasts of North America and Europe, and landscapes from hiking across Switzerland and Italy.

She has received formal education in microscopy, graphics design, art and photography. She uses her diverse technical expertise and artistic background to achieve the final unique look of each of her images.

Sarah does not publicly disclose her multi-step process, rendering each piece of her photographic artwork truly special.
