Finding great pleasure in the presence of the real, I try to make visual mediations that will help both myself and viewers of my art to appreciate the world we share. I live in Norway, where dark, fierce winters and luminous summer nights spans an arch over the lives of humankind in a special way. I grew up at the coast where fishermen crossed the treshold of "man's element" into the wet and fertile ocean. I currently live in one of Norway's most fertile agricultural lands: these are the terms of our existance: to sweat between dusk and dust.
I have a masters degree in media studies, and extended it with an art photography education in 2016 after working in web design and development.
Recently concluded an exhibition in three governmental institutions with the project "Av augo gjorde han stoveglas" (translated "From the eyes a made window panes", from a Norwegian folk song) using non-textile materials as costumes made for the "stage" that the photographic process presents.
This summer (2019) I also had a big presentation of my project "Humans of Nyhavna" exhibiting 15 of almost 100 environmental portraits trying to create a portrait of a place in transformation by photographing the people there.
