As a Kyrgyz woman from Central Asia, in an environment of absurd limitations and despotic authority, I find myself fighting for the right of self-expression.
I capture moments, feelings and situations. My works are different in terms of the mood and technique, but utterly similar in one thing: they all tell a story of how it is important to be honest with yourself, especially when you live in an environment which pays no attention to art and artists, and at best wants to enroll you for entertainment or propaganda.
I am deeply interested in studying psychological aspects, social issues, and how our universe is structured. I believe in certain things that science cannot explain yet. My artworks are a reflection on a variety of topics, from societal injustice and existential contemplations on life and death to simple admiration of the nature around us. As a highly sensitive person, I explore different aspects of the world through the observation of feelings. For me art is spontaneity and endless adventure.
