Predrag Lozaic

Predrag Lozaic lives and works as a freelance sculptor in Belgrade.

The focus of his work is the construction of space and bodies from and to all sides. The aim is a universal and objective sculpture in the field of tension between dynamics, movement and change. Studying both symbolic and literal heritage involves the spatial determination of graphic representation of the message conveyed through symbol-letter, exploring the meaning and origin of the symbol-letter, its original spatial appearance, and idea. It involves the three-dimensional liberation and interpretation of the two-dimensional graphic framework of multidimensional meaning of the message. The assumption of possible spatial (three-dimensional) interpretation of symbolic-literary heritage is given.

Reading an Artwork

The language of art is such that by observing it from a specific angle, we grasp its meaning. By changing the viewing angle (position or philosophical stance), the meaning is reshaped, altered, or augmented. Reading can have a flow and consistency in understanding the message conveyed through the shape, form in space, which can range from a given composition to the cosmic boundaries.
