BIOGRAPHY
Salvatore Esposito is a Neapolitan artist based in London, UK.
His field of study was photography and graphic design. He experienced various methods of print and analogue photography over the course of time but in specific, he is interested in architectural photography; what intersects with his practice as an “urbanscape” abstract artist.
He is working as a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer in London, making films on social, tangible subjects that can again mirror back the spirit of the social urban environment around.
Salvatore has been featured in various international publications, including Al-Tiba, and has participated in numerous collective exhibitions worldwide.
STATEMENT
Salvatore Esposito’s artistic practice forms around what he terms "abstract urbanscapes." Drawing inspiration from the urban environment, he uses found materials collected from city streets to connect his art directly to its source.
Born and raised in southern Italy, he grew up surrounded by discarded and recycled materials, which notably influenced his artistic perspective.
