Painting for me is a flexible medium in which I can move depending on the subject or the mood. I like changing and mixing media.
My pictures usually have a gold accent. The paintings are done in many layers that make up the picture subjects visible deeper than the outer surface. The object of the painting is a real modern life that could be concentrating on expressing the emotional responses to the world through tradition or symbolical images.
Working in watercolor, acrylic paints, pastels, pencils and ink I use rich tones to give my paintings physical presence. In the paintings natural and people made lights: sunlight, moonlight, streetlights and bright headlights of passing by cars and bicycles transform the usual notions of realism into the form which reflected a complex of lights and sounds that often miss when working in an artist studio.
I was studying painting, drawing, and craft in art and craft studio in my childhood.
