Alexander Kovacs

Alexander Kovacs is a contemporary artist living and working in Arizona. His highly textured figures, animals and landscapes evolve from soul searching and experimentation. Inspired by earthy forces, tribal influences and natural shapes. His current series are focused on revealing the beauty of organic decay and weathered surfaces. Alexander’s work is built up and layered by using a mix of mediums including powdered marble, natural fibers, acrylic and oil paints.

Alexander is a self-taught artist and is of Hungarian descent. After 30+ years working in the Aerospace industry, he is devoting himself to his love of fine art. It gives him great pride and satisfaction to create unique, original pieces that resonate with collectors. His style is a continually evolving journey of discovery.
