A filmmaker by trade, I have had a parallel career as an engraver and two years ago I started mixing prints with other media on paper. So after years of black and white which I love, here come the colors! Pastel and acrylic are my favorite medium after engraving and print. I am interested in bodies and how movements express an emotion.

I was born in Iran, raised all around the world but have spent most of my adult life in Paris. I love Paris and still live in the city half time. But most of my art work is done in my studio in Burgundy, a magnificent area with beautiful historical villages and hilly landscapes and good food !
I started art print as a young adult learning from masters Brigitte Combes and Agnès Gauthier-Chartrette, for several years. Later I worked with Dominique Alliadière training at Ecole Duperré in Paris. In 2012 I started experimenting different mediums, leaving acids and copper for tape and plastic matrix. More recently I have started mixing print with other mediums, as I also paint and love pastel. That's the joy of art : there are no boundaries...
