Monika Ostrowska

My name is Monika and I am a photographer who recently became collage artist. I live in Warsaw, Poland with my husband and dog. I had graduated European Academy of Photography based in Warsaw and has been working as a freelance photographer since 2008. In my free time I began creating collages around 3 years ago, then stoped only to pick it up almost a year ago and to fall in love with it. So far I've self educated myself in that area and have attended collage workshops to study different techniques. I have also attended various design fairs with my collages and has sold them there successfully to private collectors.
My art is handmade with pictures and photos that I cut out from papers, magazines, catalogues etc. I work intuitively to create a new world, new images with their own meaning.
