As a freelance artist residing in Sacramento, United States, since 1990, I've cultivated a diverse and expansive range of artistic interests. From capturing the essence of landscapes to exploring the intricacies of wildlife, nudes, portraits, and still life, my artistic endeavors span a wide spectrum. Despite the versatility in my painting styles, I find particular joy and resonance in the world of impressionist art. In my artistic practice, I employ various mediums and materials, often venturing into the realm of non-traditional forms. However, my preferred medium is oil painting, executed on either canvas or wood panels. Each piece is meticulously completed with a protective varnish, enhancing both the durability and aesthetic allure of the artwork. Every painting bears my signature as a mark of authenticity validating its unique origin and artistic provenance. I employ diverse techniques in my artistic process to bring my paintings to life. Black and white film photography, in particular, has become a cherished hobby of mine, weaving a timeless quality into my visual narrative. The delicate artistry of black and white film captures moments with a unique depth and emotion, and I frequently integrate these photographs into my painting, skillfully merging the monochromatic tones to compose a nuanced color palette. I was born in Ukraine in 1958. When I was ten years old, my parents moved to Estonia, where I graduated from an art school.
