James Brunt

James is a self-taught artist, painting landscapes, seascapes and experimental pieces using primarily oils, but sometimes using acrylics, pigments, inks and a mix of mediums to create greater depth and colour. James often plays around with saturated colour, perspective and texture, attempting to achieve a different feel within each piece. Quite often, the artist also likes to make a bold use of colour to represent the emotion of the painting. He attempts to generate a sense of serenity and sentiment in order to express a feeling of peacefulness and calm within each painting.
