Lyubov Shovkun

She was born in Russia, lived in Russia and Ukraine, currently lives in USA, where she emigrated in 1996. She loved to draw all her life, but after receiving a medical education, she devoted her life to medicine. As a physician, she observed how art impacted the lives of her patients, their health and mental well-being.
Over time, art turned from a hobby into a passion, filling all her free time. She is self-taught artist, learning Art in various art studios, attending workshops, using of online resources, and active participation in exhibitions and auctions. As an emerging artist, she loves contemporary art, experiments in art, loves to look for new techniques, mix different styles and media in her artworks.
And now art for her is like an exciting journey, filled with energy and passion.
