Antonio Capel

Born on January 19, 1960 in Tetouan. Since 1961 he has lived in the city of Palencia, Spain.
He had his first individual exhibition at the age of 11.
In the following exhibition held in the city of Friborg (Switzerland) he was considered a painting genius due to the quality of his work produced at such an early age.

Self-taught artist.
He demonstrated his innate ability from childhood at school by drawing even on classroom walls in the teacher's absence, simply out of mere personal need.
He was rejected in several painting and drawing competitions to which he entered on the grounds that it was not possible that a child of that age could have done such works.
At the age of 11 he began to attend private painting classes, only encouraged by the insistence of friends and relatives of the artist.
