Barend Paul Stander

Paul Stander is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Cape Town, South Africa. He uses analogue photographic printing processes and painting to create an awareness of our surroundings and the need for conservation. He is inspired by his grandchildren's interpretation of what they see and how they present these images.

Analogue processes like cyanotype refers to the beginning or the birth of new genres and the development of such processes.
