Dianne Gillis-Robinson

From life as a military kid, to picking potatoes on a combine harvester in Maine, to starting a non-profit for moms and daughters, I have always kept my art supplies sheltered in that quiet space where I could practice my craft for the pure joy of creating. The varied paths I have taken on life's journey have culminated in my pursuit of beauty as a working artist. Until recently, that creative journey was divided between my studios based in Alaska and Virginia. Now that I am home for good, the soft rolling mountains and grand vistas of Southwest Virginia, once again, inspire me to create my version of beauty expressed with paint and canvas.

Largely self taught with guidance from Art League Houston, Rice University Glasscock School and mentoring from artist and teacher, Laura Spector.
