For over a decade, I lived in a space of silence and service, where time was measured not by hours, but by the heartbeats of my loved ones. This period became my voluntary seclusion—a time when I gathered light and energy within myself.
Today, my art is a manifesto of liberation. After a long creative hibernation, I return to explore the entire palette of life. I work with silk and satin—materials that possess their own soul and will. My process is a balance between precise graphic intent and the thrill of paint that lives its own life on the fabric.
My works represent "Quiet Luxury" for those seeking profound inner radiance rather than a loud cry. In every line and every shimmer of color, there is the energy of rebirth. I do not just paint on fabric; I capture the moment when color meets air, and the soul meets freedom.

Maya Veshnik is a contemporary textile artist whose practice is deeply rooted in the intersection of fine art and theatrical scenography. Her journey began at the prestigious Karatanov Art School, followed by a degree in Decorative and Applied Arts from Khakass State University (2000–2005).
A pivotal chapter of her career was her tenure as a Set Designer at the renowned "Skazka" Puppet Theater. In 2002, her visionary contribution to the production Jakob Jakobson was recognized with the Golden Mask Award—the highest theatrical honor—for Best Director and Best Production Design.
This theatrical heritage is the heartbeat of her current work. Maya doesn’t just paint on silk; she creates a "stage" where light, texture, and graphic storytelling perform in harmony.
