Olga Minasyan

Artistic influence has been in my family for many years, since the poetry writings of one of my Grandfather's.

Despite a mainly financial and technical background in education, I have spent my entire life immersed in creative hobbies such as painting and iconography, with an in depth interest in artists, studying their techniques, and in fine art works.

Having left Russia for Malta many years ago, I initially became interested in photography and then began to express myself through drawing. I found I could use this medium to better project my mood and inner feelings, building upon this by adding the medium of painting.



In recent years I have been living in Cyprus where I have been regularly attending Art Class for more than 4 years, continually learning the classic and modern techniques of painting. I feel that have now acquired a good level of competence in this area. I like to explore various painting techniques, from acrylics and oils to watercolour and tempera, but my favourite would be painting with oils.

Some of my Artworks are already in private collections. They can be found in collections in Cyprus, Latvia, Russia, Serbia and the UK.
