Andrés Bermúdez
A Colombian photographer with 15 years of experience in fashion and advertising, Andrés Bermúdez transitioned to artistic photography over the last seven years. His summers spent in Southern Italy—particularly in regions like Sicily, Calabria, and the Amalfi Coast—have deeply influenced his work. Through his images, Andrés captures the essence of “dolce far niente”, the Italian way of celebrating the pleasure of doing nothing, focusing on the unique atmosphere of its beaches and the vibrancy of summer.

His photographs not only showcase the stunning Mediterranean landscapes but also explore the interaction with the local people, their traditions, culture, and lifestyle. The beaches become the backdrop for this rich way of life, where the sea acts as a witness to centuries of history. With a careful attention to light, texture, and the everyday rhythm of life on the coast, Andrés invites viewers to experience the calm and magic of these moments, evoking a deep connection between nature, culture, and daily life by the sea.

I have studied cinematography and visual arts at the Tai School in Madrid, and later at the NY Film Academy in New York.
