Duna Eva

Duna Eva is an abstract and contemporary artist based in Madrid. She is absolutely self-taught, and the vibrant, fluid compositions she creates, embody freedom, strength, and joy.

Eugenia Dunaeva - which is artist's real name - was born in St. Petersburg, and her connection to art began early - her first job was at the Hermitage Museum, home to one of the world's largest collections of Impressionist masterpieces. Spending hours among these works, giving tours and immersing herself in their beauty, left an indelible mark on her artistic sensibilities.

Despite this early exposure, Eugenia pursued a different path, studying International Business and earning an MBA in the UK. Her career took her to Big Tech, where she held leadership roles across continents, including Director of EMEA for Meta. Yet, her passion for art remained a constant, quietly shaping her perspective and creativity.

Eugenia works primarily with acrylics on canvas, using tools like palette knives, airbrushes, and wax chalk to create textured, almost three-dimensional compositions.
