Kim Lorentzson

I paint mostly with acrylics on canvas, using bold brush strokes and palette knife to create structures. My art is characterized by vivid colors and clear forms, with a figurative style on the edge of becoming abstract. The human figure and the portrait is a main motif, creating new forms when overlapped and painted in different colors. I play with the borders of figurative and abstract and strive for balance and contrast in color.
