Originally from Long Island, Kiera moved to NYC to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology for an Associates in Illustration where she studied anatomical figure drawing. She then worked as a fine art framer, art handler and artist assistant while showing work in NYC until graduating from Hunter College with a BFA in Studio Art in 2018. She received the Kossack Fellowship for painting in 2018 and attended the Soaring Gardens artist residency in 2019 and 2020. Kiera graduated the MFA program of Brooklyn College in NYC with a focus on painting in June 2022. She is currently one of the directors and curators of the Box Factory gallery in Ridgewood NYC.
