I am Luxembourg-born scientific illustrator and artist living in Hanover, Germany. For a couple of decades I was a copywriter for Honeywell Bull, Nokia and Siemens. Then I slowly slipped into computer graphics. I specialized in illustrating molecules and fullerenes for a long time. In 1988 I received a recognition of the Prix Ars Electronica for my graphic "Funnel". In 2023 I started doing AI illustrations. I live together with my partner Elke Leger, my favorite photo subject, and a turtle named George.
I graduated from high school in Luxembourg, then went to Munich and studied mechanical engineering, graduating with a degree in engineering. During my studies I was able to program in ALGOL on the Perm, a first generation computer. The PERM is now displayed in the informatics exhibition of the Deutsches Museum München.
Participation in the following exhibitions:
1988, Deutsches Museum München: Prix Ars Electronica exhibition.
1989 Artitudes exhibition at Gallery Art 54 in New York: Certificate of excellence of the computer graphics competition Artitudes
