Overland Ocean

I am a polymath artist inspired by the natural world, the cycle of the moon, and the timeless beauty of organic materials. My artistic journey is deeply rooted in cyanotype, a historical photographic process that I have reimagined using sand, salt, and other natural elements. I aim to create works that evoke a sense of wonder, blending science and art to explore themes of water, light, and the cosmos.

Growing up by the Atlantic Ocean in Agadir, Morocco, I developed a profound connection to the sea and the desert, which profoundly influence my creations. Each cyanotype piece is a ritualistic process, incorporating layers of texture to reflect the harmony between nature and time.

My work celebrates the interplay between tradition and innovation, drawing inspiration from the Amazigh culture and the Fibonacci sequence. Through my art, I seek to tell stories of cycles, transformation, and the infinite beauty of the natural world.
