Roderick Mclaverty

Born South Africa.-1939 Grew up in Mozambique and shooled in South Africa and Rhodesia. I became interested in painting from about the age of sixteen when I then started producing art. My primary and lasting influence comes from the impressionists and continues to this day. I perceive paintings to be like open windows on the wall which should always enchant the viewer however many times they are viewed.
Therefore I always strive to create a thing of visual beauty to delight the observer.

Lithographer in Rhodesia Studied at Das Akademie fur Graphische Gewerbe in Munich and the London school of Printing .After visiting most of the major galleries in Munich,Paris ,Amsterdam,Rome and London et al. I returned to Africa and Started painting and selling my work privately.
