Qusay Alawami

My paintings reflect the way I see things around me. The nature around me, and the heritage inspires me much. In my realistic paintings, I paint old mud houses, some of the details of these houses like doors and windows. I also paint desert scenes like sand dunes and oasis. In my abstract paintings, I utilize heritage aspects like Arabic letters and ornaments, warm colors as well. Earth and bright colors around me influence me a lot.
Participated in many exhibitions but most important was in Florence Biennale, from 3-11 of December 2005, Florence, Italy.

Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering.
