Hey, I’m a Kashmiri artist and painting is just my way of putting feelings, thoughts, and memories into color. Some of my work is soft and quiet—faces emerging from hazy backgrounds, emotions that don’t need words. Other times, I paint with much deeper, earthier tones—like in my cow series—where I lean into themes of identity, culture, and the raw connection between humans and nature.
Growing up in Kashmir shaped how I see silence, stillness, and strength. I don’t like to box myself into one style—I just paint what feels real in the moment. Whether it’s calm or heavy, fragile or loud, each piece says something I couldn’t say out loud.
If any of my work makes you stop and feel something—even something small—I’m grateful for that.
