Ivana Tomanovic

I was born in 1971 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Since I was a little girl, had an interest in photography and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to dedicate my life to it. I studied photography in Prague, from 2001 to 2015 worked as an editor in the magazine for the culture of photography - ReFoto in Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2009, I teach photography at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Belgrade. In the present days as a full professor. As well, I'm active in the art scene in Belgrade, where I live. I exhibit my art work, work as a curator, organise and give lectures and workshops, write texts about photography and artists.

A bachelor and master's degree from the Academy of Film and Television (FAMU) in Prague, Czech Republic - Department of Photography.
Currently on doctoral studies in fine art at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia.
