Poppys Echoes

My name is Poppy, and I was born in 1987 on the beautiful island of Chios. From an early age, the island’s natural beauty and intricate landscapes captivated me. Its serene beaches, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, majestic rocks, and towering mountains became a source of endless inspiration. It was here that my calling as an artist emerged during my childhood.

I have always felt a deep urge to capture fleeting moments, recreate scenes that moved me, and translate emotions—whether from a glance, a face, or the essence of an entire situation—into art. Painting has always been my way of turning dreams into reality.

Motivated by Chios’ beauty, I spent countless hours honing my skills, particularly in portraiture, during my teenage years. This self-driven progress was later enhanced through specialized courses at Bolton's Art School, which equipped me with advanced techniques. Now, I strive to express my unique perspective through my paintings, capturing the elusive essence of a moment or a scene.
