Russell Bignold

I am an atelier trained portrait and figurative artist and am also a strong expressionist painter and have created works that I call 'Constructive Expressionism' I use high quality materials including Belgium linen and quality branded paints. I have had work exhibited at the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition twice (2020 and 2024 at the Mall Galleries in London and further work selected for exhibition with The Royal West Academy of Art in Bristol, UK (2024). I have also had work pre-selected for exhibition by the BP Portrait Award, Royal Society of British Artists Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture.

I am also a sculptor of portrait and figurative works in clay and wax
