Maarten Van Den Berg

I'm a graphic artist living on the North Sea coast. My work consists of line compositions that I call ‘ripplescapes’. Ripplescapes feature moiré patterns created when two layers of lines touch, like interfering waves or the ripples in the sand left by the tide on a beach. Inspired by movement, sound or conversation, my ripplescapes celebrate the creative power of encounter. Each ripplescape captures a moment in the swirl of sensory experiences and stories we share.
