Mick Wout

An artist residing in Spain, with roots in both Dutch and Belgian heritage. After a 20-year hiatus from painting, I returned to the canvas following a career as a creative director.

My artwork weaves memories into concise narratives. As time unfolds, memories naturally shift and evolve, sometimes for the worse, but frequently for the better.


Exploring form, colour, and textures is my creative pursuit. In a world that cherishes diversity, it feels peculiar that as an artist, one is compelled to confine themselves to a singular path.
