“Everything is a question of point of view!“
That is what I believe in. Whether painting a rusted iron construct from the Detroit River, a dead reed or cold stones in the winter sunlight of Michigan, I want to draw you into the beauty of it all.
Through all my artwork I want you to realize that there is always an alternative view on one subject - we just need the desire to see it.
The fine artist Jana Dietsch Wingels was born in 1980 in Germany. After having graduated from University as an Art and Language Teacher, she lived and worked in Germany, France and Switzerland, before she moved with her family to the US in 2018.
During the years 2005 - 2017, Jana Dietsch Wingels, painted, drew and took part in group and solo exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland and France.
Jana Dietsch Wingels is now residing in the Downriver area of Michigan, very near to the Detroit River. She is now concentrating her work on landscapes of the Detroit River utilizing acrylic on canvas.
The artist has been also working as a children’s book author since 2009.
