Christina makes paintings that are meditations on women’s life experience from the past and the present, often using imagery from archives, museums and photo albums, and her own experiences, as her departure point.
Her canvases create psychological spaces that reflect a mood or atmosphere associated with a particular experience of moment, historically and contemporaneously. Christina is currently using painting to investigate the links between walking, myths and the creative imagination in order to support wellbeing.
