I create quiet, intimate interior scenes—spaces where emotions settle in silence. Whether through painting or film, I’m drawn to the atmosphere of everyday rooms: places that feel familiar, yet slightly distant. In recent years, the figures in my works have disappeared. People now appear only through photos or posters, hinting at absence and quiet departure. My work is deeply influenced by Iranian literature, where it’s said that what we seek in the world is often found at home. Since moving to Germany, my palette has shifted—colder tones, muted light—reflecting migration and emotional distance. I aim to offer viewers a space to pause, to feel, and to reflect on the delicate presence of things we often overlook.
