rreonsu (Yeonsoo Choi) focuses on the ambivalence of “expectation” as it emerges within social and relational structures. The cycle of expectation–loss–expectation reveals not only personal experience but also social tensions and structural contradictions, materializing in her paintings as the image of “imaginary plants.” Organic forms that proliferate across the canvas, along with hazy lines and fragmented visuals, visualize the structures of affective attachment, inviting viewers to reconsider both individuals and society.
