Art needs Passion
Ilse Gabbert's work combines an exciting experimentation with a variety of techniques: painting, photography, Monotype, woodcut and etching. And whilst it looks as though her work is going in different directions at the same time, it actually blends together to form a harmonious whole. The concepts of time and evanescence are again and again themes in her artistic work. Often her works are a meeting of photographic interest and the passion for painting.
