Svetlana Mihalj

Svetlana Mihalj is a Serbian artist whose creative journey spans diverse forms, from drawing and painting to installations and performances. In her most recent body of work, she returns to the purity of her childhood passion—drawing. Through delicate lines and expressive forms, she explores the profound symbolism of hands, using them as mirrors that reflect the very essence of being. In 2000-2005 Mihalj studied Art Education and Slovak Language and Literature at the Pedagogic Faculty of Matej Bel University.
In 2005-2011 she studied painting, digital art at the Academy of Fine Art. She graduated from the Studio of Intermedia with the diploma project “Borders” (2011). Both Universities are in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
