Ricia Araiza Michael Leventhal

We are collaborative painters - husband & wife. We have been painting together (on the same canvas, at the same time) since 1995 and find it so fulfilling we have not returned to our solitary work.

Michael has an undergraduate degree in painting from UCLA, and did 2 years of Masters Work towards an MFA. He studied with Diebenkorn, Elmer Bischoff, William Brice and Sam Amato.

Ricia is mostly self taught, tho she has studied art her entire life at various art schools.

We have exhibited every year in No Calif and are founding members of Partners Gallery in Fort Bragg, CA. We are in the collections of many patrons, as well as in Di Rosa Museum in Napa, CA
