I am an abstract painter from Germany. I paint and draw in mixed media on canvas, paper and other surfaces.
My paintings are an emerging process, usually beginning with lots of colour, exploring concepts of layering, transformation and ethereal qualities, towards a state of calm, lightness.
The world out there is often noisy and restless and life is not always a happy place. We have a lot in our minds. There is this longing for rest, relaxation and harmony, at least in our homes. I hope that my work will give people a moment of pause, awareness and maybe a little joy.

After paving my way into art as a former lawyer, since 2017 I have been working freelance. Intensive occupation with painting and painting material technology as well as other techniques of the fine arts; various courses and workshops with well-known artists (since 2005).
